Steven Spielberg on Jaws

beaches jaws movie Everyone who goes to the beach remembers Jaws. Here's director Steven Spielberg's take on whether Jaw's kept bathers out of the water:

Not at all! On the contrary, I was impishly pleased. The reactions of the public showed me that the film worked and was touching the primeval fears of the audience.
