Hi I'm from NJ and recently visited some friends in Virginia and received two tickets one for speeding the other for reckless driving. I haven't got a ticket in over 11 years I think this is kind of strange because I feel like I was targeted because I was from out of state. When I first arrived to VA I was on a two lane road that my navigation took me on and there were cars passing me on the left like I was standing still in thick fog no less. As you know I have to appear in court and drive 12 hours round trip in one day and miss work I feel this is unfair and I don't think I will be visiting anytime soon. Any advise on what to do about a lawyer?
