Degree In Bra Studies
I heard you can get an advanced degree in Bikinis.
Quite a number of US and Canada news media mention that there is now a degree in bra studies at Hong Kong’s Polytechnic University. Since there is only one university in Hong Kong that has “polytechnic” in its name, I think they mean the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Australian Diving
Good report on the diving here:
So alittle more abou my diving. so I finally got on with my diving course. there’s not relly much more to tell about the first two days, we just had classroom instruction, and pool time, and I did burn my sholders alittle, as I couldn’t get sunscreen on it very often. so that was over, and now it was time for the boat. so we get on the first boat, this is the one that will take us out to the boat will will be living on. and about mid morning, we stop and go for a snorkle, before lunch. this snorkle was our first time on the barrier reef, and it was soo cool.

8th Anniversary
Happy Anniversary! Hope you get beach time at Virginia Beach!
Anyhow...No sleep for both of us equals two crankies at each other's throat. We haven't spoken for two days now. Not because we can't, but because we don't want to. *sigh* The benefit to that is my house is spotless. *Anger motivates me to Clean.* Our 8th wedding anniversary is Dec.2 and we're going to Virginia Beach for a little over-nighter. Not sure where we're staying or what we're doing, I left that all up to the hubby. My only stipulation was the hotel room be ocean front (I'm a beach girl). So here's to hoping we'll get a little R&R together.

Queer Life
We're waiting for the made up stories.
There’s a lot of wierd stuff that goes on around here…drugs, sex, parties (3 day ones!)… I’ll tell what I know, what I think, and if I don’t know the full story I’ll make stuff up. Just wait until after THIS weekend–Thanksgiving is tomorrow…Tony Moran is playing at South Beach in Houston on Saturday…BIG crowds expected all weekend. I work at one of the Gay Clubs, and I get to see a lot of what most people miss.

Baseball Threat!
Life in the sunshine.
We don’t support baseball because it is boooooorrrriiiinnngg!!!! It is about as exciting as watching …….BASEBALL!!!!! This is South Florida, and we have sunshine 365 days of the year, no snow, the ocean, South Beach, deep sea fishing, jet skiiing, the Florida Everglades, tropical nights, and none of us have time to watch grown men dressed up like they are in pajamas scratching their nuts and spitting chewing tobacco out onto a field that the NFL have to play on! (A REAL sport).

Boycott Aruba?
Some good questions about the proposals for a boycott of Aruba.
This is now Aruba vs. America. Some will not be happy till the entire island has been destroyed both physically and economically. I have witnessed people calling for boycotts, calling for the beaches to be completely destroyed, calling for all ruins and monuments to be destroyed etc. My question is, if we do all of that, and still no Natalee…what next? Do we move in and do the same to all of the neighboring islands, just in case Natalee was taken there?

Beach Boys Lawsuit Vs. Pitchfork's Coverage Thereof
Click through for the whole story.
According to the Associate [sic] Press , Love is perturbed that Wilson “shamelessly misappropriated Mike Love’s songs, likeness and the Beach Boys trademark, as well as the ‘Smile’ album itself”. . . . The allegations of misappropriation apparently stem from a promotion in Britain’s The Daily Mail in which 2.6 million copies of a Beach Boys compilation CD were given away. Ergo, Love’s lawsuit seeks damages for “millions of dollars in illicit profits” plus one million dollars to put toward international advertising.

I Love Miami!
Happy Birthday!
We decided to go to the Delano, a Phillipe Stark hotel just two doors down, for dinner. Phillipe Stark hotels are always a little 80s (remember the Royalton?). The whole night was tinted with the pale champagne glow of glamour, as we ate lobster at the Delano, people watched on the streets of South Beach, and snuck into a very fancy party in the penthouse of the Raleigh where the Cristal was freely flowing! The guard stationed next to the elevator reserved for the penthouse party seemed to know we weren’t invited. But the busboy in the other elevator didn’t! Standing on the deck of the penthouse, sipping Cristal for the second time that night, I thought, “I LOVE MIAMI!”

Candelaria
Beautiful town, Candelaria.
The girls of course were rather tired from being at the airport at four in the morning so after a short breakfast we just relaxed in the sun by the pool. With higher energy and lower sun we split up, Andreas and Sonja heading towards the water while we took care of the dishes and then set off towards Candelaria where Dilek was excited to see the black volcanic beaches and the waves rolling in, a few catching us by surprise. The four of us met again after sunset for dinner at the church plaza.

Shopping! ^-^
Never heard of Aberystwyth until now.
I love Aberystwyth. Seriously. The seaside.. just lovely. I went down there today to check out a few things if I've got them correct in my story. I usually just stay on the North Beach cause it's closer to all the shops, but today I wandered over to the South Beach.. Lovely, lovely. Really windy, but great all the same. Then I wandered around the castle ruins for a bit. It really is a shame that they let it crumble down like that 7 centuries ago..
