Review: Nabi No Koi

beach taketomjima A review of Nabi No Koi set in Taketomijima.

Nabi No Koi (Nabbie´s love) is a small movie that I really love, for many reasons. First, it is shot in Okinawa, more specifically in Taketomi-jima, an island 10 minutes from Ishigaki-jima, in the westernmost island chain of Japan, the Yaeyama islands. Taketomi is really a small place, and there is only one little village, typical Ryukyu, and is so beautiful. I spent 2 weeks in Ishigaki, and I visited Taketomi and the beaches many times. It was paradise to me. In Nabi No Koi the action takes place in this island.
