Beach Party

Then the fun started. We sat in a line of cars for 40 minutes just to get out of the parking lot. It was hot. We were sandy and covered with gross water. The kids were thristy and screaming. We weren’t moving. Then an officer (directing traffic) told me that the bridge out of Sandy Hook was broken and everyone would have to leave via Sea Bright or one of the Jersey Shore beaches.
