Essaouira
If you're travelingOnce you have drawn yourself away from the views, you can explore the craft markets, which seem to be the most authentic I have seen in any town in this country. You may also indulge in some fantastically creamy Italian ice-cream before embarking on a walk across the vast windswept beach, which reaches out from the medina like a giant tick, flanked by hotels, bars and windsurfing shacks. If you are not too afraid of food poisoning (my lacklustre companions are), you can sample some fresh sardines fried over beds of dried wood which burst with oil and flavour.

Jersey Shore In April
What's betterWhile most Jersey Shore towns like Sea Isle City consider May to be the first major beach vacation month because of Memorial Day and college students getting out of school, April can often provide you with idyllic San Diego like temperatures and climate.

I Had Never Envisaged Kayaking
A trip toAlthough I had never envisaged kayaking to be ‘my thing’ - I tend to leave most water sports to Keith, I actually felt quite excited about our trip. We were up early to arrive at the office for 8.30am. On walking into the reception area I spotted Claire, our fellow traveller from South America! It is indeed a small world.

First Time In Lanzarote
From a first timeThe island boasts numerous sheltered beaches, where it is safe to swim and where there is an infrastructure for children’s games, which can entertain the little ones for many days. There are also many specific centres where the tastes of all age groups can be satisfied, such as water parks, theme parks and fairgrounds, games centres, internet entertainment centres and public parks that have facilities for children.

Polar Bear Club
We don't thinkNormally when it’s cold, I just stay home. Today as I was running around, I was reminded of the Polar Bear Club. You know those idiots who put on swimsuits and jump in the lake on New Year’s Day? Yeah, those guys.

Wisdom is knowing whenWe love Tyra’s “I Swear I’m Not Fat” Tour more than anybody, but we’re not looking forward to seeing her squeeze into that polka dot bikini again. Is anybody looking forward to that? Seriously… we need to know.
