Jellyfish Delay Hollywood Filming
JellyfishSee, I’ve been to Fraser Island. It’s this absolutely gorgeous remote place that screams “paradise”. However, Fraser is also known for its off-shore reputation of sharks. Lots of ‘em. I took an airplane ride above the waters around the island and actually pointed out several fairly close to shore. So, if the jellyfish don’t get you, the sharks might. Regardless of impacts to filming, this development is pretty serious for water sports around the eastern shore.

Sloppiness Doesn't Become You
Get rid of all those sloppy peopleYesterday we spent the entire day in downtown Myrtle Beach. It is a touristy town, even in March. There were plenty of people all around to watch. And I did. And I didn't like what I saw.

Allergies, No Fair
A tripFinally, on the concern that I might be pushing myself too hard and for the wrong reasons I am willing to conceed that you may be right. Wanting to look good in a bikini in time for my trip to Malta is probably not the most admirable reason to restart CRON. None the less, it was precisely the motivation I needed to get serious about my health again.

Winter And Spring "Duking" It Out
It's a mad dashBalmy temps during the day….freezing temps at night - mother nature is slowing ushering in spring. This is a favorite time for many travelers. Freezing temps at night are helping to maintain safe ice conditions on many lakes - while warm temps during the day provide locals and tourists with cabin fever a taste of what is to come!

Wilco
A band thatTheir debut album, AM, is a great example of poppy alt-country. Being There, their sophmore double album, adds classic rock and loads of distortion. Their third album, Summerteeth, is like listening to a nihilistic version of the Beach Boys, and Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is an album praised high and low for its complexities and trust in its listeners. A Ghost is Born won the band a Grammy for best alternative album of the year. A new CD, Sky Blue Sky, is forthcoming on May 15, 2007.

Isle Royale
Take aI have never been to Isle Royale, have wanted to… even for diving - there are some nice shipwrecks up there - crystal clear water - and it would be great to spend a little time observing wolves and a few moose. I have so much admiration for the people who dedicate a majority of their lives in the study of wildlife and promoting education about them.

Click throughwhen we drove into town on tuesday (we’d all flown in to medford, oregon, an hour north of yreka), we remembered that none of us had brought swim trunks, and that karla had a new pool and hot tub she was excited about us seeing and using. so the five of us stopped at the yreka wallmart to buy swimwear.
