Beach Party

I've posted a few times about the Sea Stallion of Glendalough, billed as the largest replica Viking ship ever built. First here, then here and finally here. As promised, the crew of the ship launched its planned invasion of Ireland a while ago. Unfortunately, the winds in the North Sea have been uncooperative, making sailing to Ireland impractical.

With the Lower Cape backshore beaches swamped with an increasing and persistant "MUNG" bloom that many disgusted beach-goers anecdotally associate with the off-shore boat disharge in the same way that land-based septic effluent is a widely recognized contribution to the nitrogen enrichment of marine embayments, the time to hault the dumping is none too soon.

So one of Josh’s good friends is getting married in Daytona Beach in September. We discussed going down and staying in Orlando, driving to Daytona Beach for the wedding. I looked at tickets for the three of us…$350 round trip for three seats to Orlando. I’m thinking…we’re taking our first trip to Disney!

And they have pictures. I count five bikini-clad occupants of the boat. Nicholson is not one of them.

The beaches here are all rock and no sand, I can't tell if I like it or hate it. Tomorrow we are going to try and go to Monte-Carlo and pay for our entire trip through gambling. Then off to Barcelonia, with a side trip to Pampelona to participate (if I don't chicken out) with the running of the bulls. Then off to Paris before we head back to England to fly home.

No offense to Anthony Kedidis, Flea or the rest of the Chilli Peppers but I just can’t get my head around their slightly funked up version of the Beach Boys classic, “I get Around”

The Broken Springs Village Council decided on Monday to pass a new law in the town that all potential sunbathers are to have their bathing suits inspected and authorised by the Chief of Police before they wear them outdoors!

I had landmarked (SL’s version of bookmarking) another ad agency, Scion City, where you could test drive the new Scions, and to make sure I kept them interested…a strip club. As we were looking at the search function, we were presented with a list of the most popular places Lindens were hanging out at. There was one for a nude beach. The mental calculations were swift….strip club, nude beach….What’s the difference, right? So off we went.

I’m gonna be two days shy of making it to Aussiebum’s Fashion for Football- A Swimsuit Runway Show. This charity event will feature some of the hottest members of the New York Gay Football League modeling some really hot Aussiebum swimsuits and underwear.
