Since we have been here we have met some wonderful, colourful and downright mad people. Our room on the first night was classic. A lovely English girl and a mad Irish couple of girls one sporing a black eye. Needless to say we went out with them partying. It was pretty messy. I got shouted at by a mad girl and chased from the club. Until this day I still have no idea why she did it. We have also down the inevitable karaoke here and visited a beach party. When the website decides to behave pictures up to illustrate my point! The weirdest experience has to be the one on Saturday Night.

I saw the immortals overlooking the volleyball court on our recent visit to the Kona side of the island, and felt an affinity. The Waikoloa Hilton is like that. It’s a massive resort complex, complete with its own trams and boat shuttles, littered with art both ridiculous and sublime, much of it Asian in origin or theme. The odd juxtaposition of beach party atmosphere and cultural decor which triggered my professional interest was mitigated only by the fact that our four-year-old still won’t slow down much for art. It all seemed like such a metaphor for Asianists in the American academy…

First was the University of Hawaii, but I quickly abandoned that idea because I thought that there would be too many people searching for a beach party. I imagined myself at the University of Alaska in Anchorage, but their programs of study were limited. Then I Googled “American Universities Oversees.” I thought it would be worthwhile to study psychology in Japan, or Beirut, even London. Anything sounds better than another two years in Gloucester City.

(O)fficers from District 14 responded to a loud party call at 1999 Commonwealth Avenue. Despite the weather conditions, which were snow and low temperatures, the officers discovered a beach party on the sixth floor. The officers observed people entering the lobby wearing shorts, and bathing suits. The Boston officers along with personnel from Boston College observed 39 people leaving the building as they responded to the sixth floor. Once in the apartment, the officers saw red plastic cups of beer, three empty 30 packs of Ginny Light Beer, along with empty bottles of Bacardi Rum, Jim Beam, and Rubinoff Vodka. All three residents were under 21-years of age and were arrested for being Keeper of a Disorderly House, and Minors in Possession of Alcohol.

This was the last beach party - All of them were very bad for my health... and my memory!! (I wonder why?!) This was near the start and the music hadn't arrived yet - A must have at any beach party if no-one has a guitar! I may tell one of the stories... watch this space!

It’s Oct 11th at 12:30 am. It’s been a great freshers week. Here there’s a lot more focus on drinking, so I was at the pub almost every night - then out to a club afterwards. We’ve had our hall photo done, so I got to wear my gown (no pics of me in it yet, wait till next friday). As well there’s been nights like ‘Barn Dance,’ ‘Quiz Night,’ ‘Bar Olympics,’ ‘Kariokee,’ a ‘beach party.’ I’ve been on a pub crawl, and to two pretty cool pubs.

It’s time to workout day and night for Zoukout at the end of the year! Check out Zoukout’s website. Plans are already going on with Mun Hoong as when to depart for the ultimate beach party in our beloved neighbour country, Singapore, which sell Ipod Nano cheaper than Malaysia.

I came back from this weekend rejuvenated. The beach party on Sat was long but fun — sunlight can be so healing. Then drinking with Toffers was insane, and I got schooled by Toffee, Dennis, and even Irene at pool. Sunday was pretty much nonstop sleeping, I woke up around 5pm? After that, did some work and went to my cousin’s for oysters, shrimp, buffalo wings, pizza, and of course more beer. But after it all, I’m finally cutting back on drinking. A week or two of nonstop booze to dull the senses is great, but it’s time to move on. I’m darker from the beach, sore from all the football, and ready to get healthy again. Mountain biking after work today! w00t!

The Warm Up is a pretty cool concept. Every Saturday from 3-9pm, DJs play, beer is sold, people dance outside, and there's even an area with sand - basically the museum creates an urban beach party. You can also go and see the exhibits inside the museum, a building that used to be a public school. I recommend going to see the room of abominable snowmen puppets - creepy and fun all at once.

Midsummer!!! the most swedish of swedish traditions, the night when we dress long poles with flowers and then dans around them imitating frogs:) And of course we drink a awful amount of vodka, you really have to see it to understand it. Well me and my mates went to the sea, to go to some-girls-friends-beach-house! After driving around for 3 hours we reallised that it didnt exist, so we did the best of the situation, we parked and had a BBQ on the green of a fancy golf course, and later on went to the big beach party that went on by the sea! It was all good fun, first time in three years im home over midsummer and after 9 i cant really remember anything of substance!!!

This weekend brings us another puff-piece biopic from the Arts & Entertainment channel, this time one that makes Arnold Schwarzenegger look celebrity cool and teddy bear charming. Unlike the 1977 Pumping Iron version of history, in which young Arnie smokes a joint at a beach party, the 2005 reenactment has him politely declining the chance to get stoned. Well, of course he declined. No matter what was really happening on the beaches of California thirty of forty years ago, Arnie is now Governor, and there’s a certain honor in the way a governor...

Maria and I are looking forward to seeing you all again this year. By now, you know the way to La Casa Goomba. Bring your swimsuits, your funniest stories and a sense of humor. This year we'll be parking out on the street. The lawn still hasn't recovered from last year. There's only so many pick-up trucks that Bermuda grass can tolerate.

Since summer is almost upon us I thought I would entreat all you savages to what summer is to me. Mostly, it's beer and bbq and women wearing less clothes, which is usually a good thing. But then again I suppose there really isn't an 'off' season for beer....or for women in less clothing being a good thing.....especially that terra....damn she's sexy...*catches my breath* ...ok but I digress....Since it is summer, what better way than to have a mock beach party. What we should do is have the girls send bikini pics *specifically...

Once we reach to pelawan beach suddenly we were screamin like mad ppl and makin alot of funny noises and faces. We c 7-eleven so we decided to sleep near the 7-eleven as it is convenient for us to get food in e middle of e night. And we prepare our tinz to spot our sleepin area and we decided to lay down our sleepin bag on the sand and start chattin all night long. Sexy Slut received an sms from his frienz that the bora bora pub is having a beach party which is located at pelawan beach. I and Sexy Slut wanted to go but Munchie Mouse said she' not goin and we stand on by her side.

After locking myself in rooms and forcing myself to do work, it was time to get out and party. I had a three day agenda, and well 3 days to do it. I partied at my friends on Thursday & Friday, and then threw my own on Saturday. It was a "beach party" at my apartment and it got off without a hitch, and left without any hiccups. It was pretty festive if you weren't there, we had a hula girl touching herself, mini beach balls, not enough pink & white leis for everybody and most people dressed for the occasion. This was a party that you only throw once....
